In
November 2004, owners Christi Chambers and Phillip
Duvic shared a glass of Merlot at a Washington
winery. Savoring the rich flavors and scenic view,
they thought how others might enjoy the Valley's
wineries without having to drive themselves.
An
idea was started to form a wine tour company,
and specialize in taking guests on custom private
wine tours of the region.
We wanted our tours to be led by guides
that were educated in wine and really knew the
area. We put together a custom package where
guests are taken to their choice of the
wineries in Yakima and Prosser, such
as Bonair, Wineglass Cellars, Cultura, Silver
Lake Winery, Two Mountains, and more.
The tour includes transportation, exclusive
cellar tours, along with driver, mini-van and
gas so you don't have to worry about extra charges
through the day.
If you are a wine enthusiast or just out for a
fun day, we'd love to show you our area and introduce
you to the outstanding wines of the Yakima APA."

City Wine Tours founder Phillip established
the company in 2004. Former window business owner
in Atlanta, GA his dramatic career change occurred
after visiting the Northwest that year. He found
a passion for the area with the activities and
the incredible scenery with wineries.
Philip
commits himself wholeheartedly to developing the
wine tour business and learning about the local
history. His enthusiasm for the shows with every
tour he gives.

Christi
was raised in the Yakima Nation where she lived
among the agricultural community of grapes, hops,
apples and pears. After graduation from East Valley
High, and then from University of WA and working
at Microsoft, she started Sun City Wine Tours
with Phillip.
She also has designed and maintained www.gorgeonline.com,and
www.hoodrivertours.com,
providing information about wine, businesses,
windsurfing and other activities in the Northwest.
Christi's enthusiasm and commitment to excellent
service and growth to the wine community contribute
to
the company's accomplishments.

Rukshana
leads our Seattle based tours to the Yakima Valley
wineries. She was born in Sri Lanka, and graduated
from Oregon State University. Now living in Seattle
for 10 years, she guides tours to the Pike Place
market, Seattle attractions and takes groups to
the Yakima valley for a full day of wine tasting.
Her brilliant personality and enthusiasm for wine
knowlege make her an excellent guide for
your day.

Resident of Yakima, Brian has worked as a UPS
driver for over 10 years. An expert on the local
sights,he also has a passion for wines & the
vineyards of Yakima and Prosser.
His father owns a vineyard in Washington and he
loves to show off his knowledge of agriculture.
His witty sense of humor adds fun to the tours
and makes all the guest feel comfortable.
